Musical Theater Workshop
(Ages 10-16)
This is an eight week session that concludes in a performance of scenes and songs from some popular Broadway musicals. All students will be a part of the performance. Workshop instruction includes singing and acting activities and exercises to help build skills and confidence. Fridays 9/30/11-11/18/11 from 5:00-6:00/6:30 p.m. (class length will depend upon the number of students registered). Tuition: $115.00/eight weeks. Currently registered Renaissance Kids students (meaning yearly registration fee paid and current or current private lesson student): $105.00. Performance on Friday 11/18/11 at 7:30 p.m.
Rock 'n' Roll Drumming
(Ages 6-9)
New! Introduction to drumming -- technique, rhythm, rolls and rock and roll! Students must bring their own practice pads and sticks to class; all other materials are included. Ongoing, $45.00/month plus yearly registration fee. Time: Thursdays 6:30-7:15 p.m or Saturdays 12:00-12:45 p.m.
Ensemble Music Recording and Performance
(Ages 10-16)
New! A class for students with basic skills in piano, guitar, drums, violing, and voice that wish to further develop their musicianship and instrument skills and perform and record with their peirs. A variety of music and styles will be used, and improvisation and composition will also be encouraged and facilitated. Permission of instructor/informal audition required. Ongoing, $65.00/month plus yearly registration fee. Time: Wednesdays 6:15-7:45 p.m.
Piano and Music Readiness
(Ages 3-4)
New! Introduction to piano and music designed to be fun and educational for the very young. Children will learn rhythm, pitch recognition, and the basics of piano technique and music reading. In class, we will use rhythm instruments, keyboards, and our singing voices. It is helpful if your child has a keyboard to practice at home, though not required. Great preparation for our Level One music classes or private instrument lessons. Ongoing, $45.00/month plus yearly registration fee, materials included. Choice of Times: Tuesdays 2:00-2:30 a.m., or Thursdays 5:00-5:30 p.m., or Saturdays 11:30 a.m. - noon
Piano, Singing and Acting - Level One
(Ages 4-8)
We are excited to be able to provide a variety of activities in one unique class, allowing younger children to experiment musically at the piano and with other musical instruments, with their voices, and have fun acting as well. Children will learn basic music, piano, acting and singing skills, develop confidence, and have a great time. Ongoing, $48.00/month plus yearly registration, materials included. Choice of Times: Mondays 5:00 - 6:00 p.m., or Tuesdays 6:00-7:00 p.m., or Wednesdays 5:00-6:00 p.m., or Thursdays 1:30-2:30 p.m., or Thursdays 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., or Saturdays 10:00-11:00 a.m. or 1:30-2:30 p.m.

(Ages 7-10)
A longer, more advanced class to further develop skills. Permission of instructor is required. Ongoing, $52.00/month plus yearly registration fee, materials included. Choice of times: Mondays 5:00-6:15 p.m., or Tuesdays 6:00-7:15 p.m., or Wednesdays 5:00-6:15 p.m., or Thursdays 5:30-6:45 p.m. or Saturdays 9:45-11:00 a.m. or 1:15-2:30 p.m.
Guitar, Acting and Singing Level One
(Ages 5-8 or Ages 8-10)
Children will have a blast strumming their guitars, singing, acting, and learning valuable skills! Students must bring their own guitar to class each week. Develop music-reading skills, guitar technique, singing skills, and performance skills. Ongoing, $48.00/month plus yearly registration fee, materials included. Violin, Acting and Singing Level One
